ANYONE AGE 64 AND YOUNGER WI CONDITIONS THAT MAKE THEM HIGH RISK, CAN NOW SIGN UP FOR APPOINTMENTS AT THE POLK COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT. The Polk County Health Department will begin vaccinating people with underlying health conditions Monday.It comes a week after the state expanded vaccine eligibility to that group. The county initially delayed the expansion so it could vaccinate more people in the earlier tiers of the vaccine rollout. Anyone age 64 and younger with conditions that make them high-risk can now sign up for appointments at the Polk County Health Department. They can also get the vaccine at Polk County hospitals and clinics and select Medicap pharmacies.Find out how you can get vaccinated in Iowa here.
